Facility Allocation Requests

Anyone can request City facilities for programs, practices, or events. Requests are reviewed based on availability and the Facility Allocation Policy. You can provide preferred dates, times, and locations in your request.

City of Vaughan Community Service Organization

The City of Vaughan promotes and recognizes that Community Service Organizations (CSO) provide recreational and leisure programs and services to Vaughan residents on a volunteer, not-for-profit basis. The department encourages these active living, social and special interest activities that enhance the wellbeing, health, and quality of life of residents and acknowledges that CSOs are our partners.

The application requirements, terms and conditions, and eligibility criteria are defined in the Community Service Organization (CSO) Policy (PDF).

For other frequently asked questions about the CSO Policy, visit the City’s CSO FAQ help page (PDF) .

No-show Reporting

In the event a permit holder will not be utilizing a permitted facility (“no-show”), and where this is known in advance, the permit holder is required to report permitted non-use and submit this to the City at least 2 weeks in advance of the expected date of the no-show. In the event a permit holder is not able to utilize a permitted facility (“no-show”) and where there is an extenuating immediate circumstance (i.e., sickness or inclement weather), the permit holder is required to report permitted non-use and submit this to the City within 24 hours following the date of no-show.

The above noted ensures the City complies with its Facility Allocation Policy (PDF).
